Problem: The client Autism Complete an Applied Behavior Analysis firm specializing in early intervention and services to children with autism required a larger facility to expand their services to more children in need.

Solution: Aspire partnered with the client and facilitated the acquisition and redevelopment of a building in downtown Fairburn, GA. Aspire helped this client to see the potential in a building that had been previously used as a house of worship. Through thoughtful design and a commitment to re-using instead of demolishing, the client now has a state of the art building located in a thriving downtown location.

Key project highlights :

Empowering Leadership: Aspire Construction & Design is deeply committed to giving back to the community, supporting local initiatives, and fostering economic empowerment through mentorship programs and partnerships with minority-owned businesses. Atlanta Public School students visited the site during construction and had an opportunity to see how a building is built and more importantly exposed to STEM careers and people who look like them doing the work.

Building Community: Aspire Construction & Design is dedicated to building a sense of community through its projects and initiatives. By actively engaging with local business owners and residents, the firm strives to create spaces that reflect the unique needs and values of the community. The project budget of $680K created an economic impact of $3.2M in spending with black and BIPOC owned businesses.

Lawson states, “ I think it's important that you form a community and that that community is committed to supporting each other. We are our own very best cheerleaders and supporters. A big example of that is that in the projects that we do, literally 90% of the dollars go to other small businesses. The clients that come through my door are referred by other small businesses that either know me or have used my services. And it is through that ecosystem that we are able to support each other and make sure that we're still here next year.”
